There’s light shining somewhere.
Take it in,
Lace it through your bones,
Tie it tight.
There, now:
An extra skeleton for days like this,
When the one you were born with
Won’t hold you up.
If you can’t see any light,
Then taste the air.
Not far away
Someone else is breathing out
While you are breathing in.
Life circulates.
We all reach one another
Eventually.
